Help restore our Monterey pine forests! Almost half of the Monterey pines in Cambria have been lost to development. disease and infestations. You can help reverse this decline by planting a pine seedling grown from locally collected seed. Our Monterey pines are unique. They are one of only five native stands remaining in the world. They are also beautiful to look at, listen to rustling in the wind and they also provide valuable food and shelter for wildlife. Plant one for yourself or give as a gift!

This is a one-of-a-kind birdhouse built by former Greenspace board member and Cambria artist Richard Lee. It is crafted almost entirely from recycled wood left over from the restoration of the Chinese Temple at the Creekside Reserve. Not only does that mean that much of the lumber is over 150 years old but that the wood has the patina that comes from such age and is guaranteed not to warp. The birdhouse would make a beautiful addition to anyone’s yard or a gift that will last a lifetime. It measures approximately 12" tall , 12" wide , 13" deep. The house is available for viewing and purchase at the Greenspace office or call for shipping info.
Leave a legacy with a commemorative brick bearing an inscription of your choosing to be installed in the pathway byt the Chinese Temple in the Creekside Reserve. The inscription can be up to 60 characters long and may be a memorial, an advertisement, a sentiment, or a declaration. All proceeds go to restoring and maintaining the site. If the price of a brick is a bit beyond your reach, consider joining with friends or family and purchase a ‘Buddy Brick’ and split the cost.
